Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) E-Classroom

The one-day Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course is designed to help construction workers understand the potential hazards they may face while working on site.

Description

The course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.  It identifies the delegate's responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, outlines the employer's duties and explains what should be done if the worker thinks that anyone's health and safety is being put at risk.  This course is an ideal foundation for anyone wishing to obtain an industry site card.

Aims & Objectives

On successful completion of this course, delegates should be able to:

  • Understand why they are carrying out their identified duties.
  • Understand what is expected of them while on site
  • Understand how they contribute to the safety of the workplace

Benefits Perceived by Participants

All trainers who provide this course have appropriate experience and training qualifications, allowing them to explain the course content clearly and answer candidates’ questions knowledgably.
