The NERS Electricity at Work Regulations E-Learning course delves into the EAWR 1989 and allows delegates to understand its main objectives and how and why it applies to their everyday work.
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Identify the legal framework and purpose of the EAWR 1989
- Understand the duties placed on employers, employees and self-employed persons
- Recognise the key requirements for safe electrical systems and equipment
- Explain what it means to be a competent person under Regulation 16
- Understand when live working is, and is not, permitted under Regulation 14
Assessment
Understanding of the course subject is verified by assessment questions after the learning modules.
Certification
On successful completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate with an expiry date of one year.
