Learning Outcomes
The Highfield Level 1 Award in Principles of Fire Safety course consists of two main areas of learning:

Aims & Objectives
On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

Identify the main components of the fire triangle

Identify the main causes of fires in the workplace

Identify ways to reduce the likelihood of a fire

Outline the duties of employer, employee and fire wardens in a fire

Identify escape routes and how to maintain them

Identify actions to take upon hearing the fire alarm, including using fire-fighting equipment.
