Description
Assembly, dismantling, altering and moving access towers has the potential to cause many serious incidents. These incidents can have many consequences, such as crushing injuries (I.E fractures, head injuries, cuts and bruising).
Quinn’s Training Services offer a PASMA course which can be tailored to the needs and requirements of the company. This course is delivered as a PASMA approved endorsed training programme registered with PASMA and candidates are provided a PASMA card. It provides management and operatives with the essential training needed to assemble, dismantle, alter, move and inspect mobile access towers, assisting with preventing serious incidents and injury and protecting the built asset.
This course is £145pp +VAT per course
Aims & Objectives
On successful completion of this course, delegates should be able to:
- Understand and locate Legislation, Regulations & Guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers.
- Learn the PASMA Code of Practice
- Understand the Product Standards within EN 1004:2004
- Know how to assemble, alter & dismantle towers incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed mobile access towers & completion of Tower Inspection Records
- Be able to identify hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers & how to avoid these hazards.

Mode for Delivery
The course is delivered by one of our fully qualified tutors, who use a variety of theoretical input and practical use of equipment, including group exercises, building, dismantling of towers and discussions and interactive PowerPoint.
Examination: Attainment of the learning outcome for the qualification will assessed by a multiple-choice examination under exam conditions. At the discretion of the Training Provider, the candidates shall be allowed to refer to any notes they make during the training sessions and the course notes or training manual provided by the Training Provider
Onsite Delivery Requirements
A classroom environment with a table and chair for each delegate, power, a clear wall or screen for presenting and suitable welfare facilities. This course also requires a suitable amount of space needed to carry out practical demonstrations and assessments. This space will vary according to the equipment you wished to be trained with. Prerequisites
There are no formal pre-course requirements for this course but it would be beneficial if delegates have basic understanding of working at height.
